The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, The Government of the People ’s Republic of Bangladesh has Permitted to operate the Prime Medical College in the year of 2008 (Memo no-ডেকহা-১/২০০৮-৯৪৯/১(৬), তাং-৩০/১২/২০০৮ ইং). Renewal Affiliation up to: 2024-2025. (Memo No.-59.00.0000.141.33.035.20-41, তাং-১৫/০১/২০২৫ ইং).
Affiliation of the college
Prime medical college is affiliated with the Rajshahi Medical University as a constituent college 2017-18 (Memo no- রামেবি/অধিভ‚ক্তি/২০১৮/১৭৭, তাং--২৯/০৩/২০১৮ ইং). Renewal affiliation up to: 2023-2024. (Memo no. রামেবি/ক.প/১৫/২০১৮/৭৬৮, তাং--১৮/০৩/২০২৫ ইং).
Recognition of degree
Bangladesh medical & dental council (BM&DC) has recognized the prime medical college in 2010. (Memo no – বিএমডিসি/১৩-ডি-০৯/১০৭১, নিবন্ধন সংখ্যা -২৩/০৬/২০১০, তাং- ২৪/০৬/২০১০ ইং). Renewal recognition upto: 2019-2020 (memo no.- বিএমডিসি/১৩-ডি-২০২৪/৫২৩, তাং-০৮/০৯/২০২৪ ইং). The graduates of the college are eligible to get professional registration from BM&DC.
Recognition of post graduate training
Bangladesh College of physicians and surgeons (bcps) has recognized post graduate training for two years in the subjects of medicine, surgery, gynae & obs. And one year in pediatrics. (bcps no. 178/2023/20403, date: 26/02/2023)
